Strategic Collaboration between Axon Medical Group and Premier Integrated Labs

Alpha Clinics Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Axon Medical Group (AMG) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Premier Integrated Labs (PIL), a leader in diagnostic solutions. This collaboration strengthens AMG’s commitment to expanding its healthcare capabilities in the secondary care market across Malaysia.

Premier Integrated Labs, a member of the esteemed IHH Healthcare’s group, is known for its dynamic and innovative approach to diagnostics, ensuring cutting-edge healthcare solutions. The lab was recently honored as a Top Elite Winner of the UNIVANTS Healthcare Excellence 2024 Award for its pioneering work in a diagnostic tool used for early detection of liver disease. Additionally, PIL received the Healthcare Asia Award 2024 as the Diagnostic Provider of the Year (Malaysia). This partnership will extend PIL’s expertise in diagnostic services to Axon Alpha Specialist Centre (AASC) and Axon Medical Group’s network of clinics.

Establishing Diagnostic Hubs Across Malaysia Care

As part of this strategic partnership, PIL will establish a dedicated lab at AASC in Kota Damansara. This lab will act as a central hub for diagnostic and blood testing for clinics in the area. The setup will enable faster turnaround times for diagnostic results, ensuring more efficient care for patients. “Premier Integrated Labs’ reputation for reliability and innovative diagnostic services makes them the ideal partner. By integrating their capabilities into our centre, we can offer more accurate, affordable solutions for our patients,” said Dato’ Yau Kok Seng, Executive Vice Chairman of AMG.

Dato’ Yau added that moving forward, AMG plans to extend its partnership with PIL as it expands in the primary and secondary care market throughout Malaysia.

Collaborating on Diabetes Care

AMG and PIL are also exploring opportunities to collaborate on diabetes-related initiatives, including research and programs aimed at improving diabetes care and management across the region.
