Axon Medical Group Completes Strategic Acquisitions to Strengthen Technology-Driven, Hybrid Healthcare Model in the ASEAN region

Axon Medical Group (AMG) proudly announces the completion of three strategic acquisitions, furthering its commitment to providing Integrated Value-Based Care Services to the community. AMG has acquired majority stakes in two general practice clinics, Klinik Anthony and Klinik Awana Kijal, and a leading OEM natural extract manufacturing company, Bionutricia Holding Sdn Bhd. This round of acquisitions cumulatively brings the total to four strategic acquisitions for the group. It marks a significant milestone in AMG’s vision to be the leading Hybrid Healthcare Provider in ASEAN by adopting the latest technology and innovative practices that improve patient outcomes and cost.

Synergy Across Acquisitions

Dato’ Yau Kok Seng, the Executive Vice Chairman believes the acquisition of Bionutricia Holding is synergistic with AMG’s primary and secondary care business model. Their expertise in natural extract and supplement manufacturing will drive significant advancements in AMG’s provision of preventative and precise medicine.

Mr Ng Kuak Ping, co-founder and CEO of Bionutricia, is also excited about this collaboration to provide premier-quality nutrition and supplements at affordable prices. He also noted, “Moving forward, we are excited to expand our offerings to the market with in-house health products that leverage this expertise.”

The acquisitions of Klinik Anthony and Klinik Awana Kijal expand AMG’s network of primary care providers. These clinics will adopt AMG’s proprietary Axon Connect technology, which uses data-driven, evidence-based medicine to optimize patient care. By enabling doctors to make more informed decisions, Axon Connect ensures safer, more efficient treatment while improving cost-effectiveness for patients and payors.

These acquisitions align precisely with the business model of our secondary care business segment. Axon Alpha Specialist Centre is a core subsidiary of AMG, spearheaded by CEO Prof Dr. Selvaraj Y S. Axon Alpha aims to be the leader in medical wellness & anti-aging, diabetic care, and post-cancer care within the ASEAN secondary care market, focusing on preventive and integrated health solutions.
